The RUSH PRO 2 (Part 3) A Nice SURPRISE.

Nicolas Mahut won the title at the Topshelf Open in Rosmalen, Holland. The unseeded Frenchman only entered the competition as a qualifier, but battled his way through to the final.

Given that he was playing the second seed, David Goffin of Belgium, he went into the final as the underdog, but surprised many (including himself) by claiming a straight sets success 7-6 6-1.

Originally # 97 He gains 37 spots at the new ATP single ranking published this Monday . he ranks now # 60.

According to the picture found on Google pics, Nicolas Mahut played with the Rush pro 2 grass court. A special make up crafted for few athletes only.

A closer look at the shoe shows a Rush pro 2 upper over the Wilson Glide control midsole and a traditional “Wimbledon” regulated grass court outsole.

Following my Rolland-Garros disappointment, I am Happy to welcome with my ex Team mates, our first ever shoe winning an ATP tournament.

Merci Nicolas
